Post by adeniyi abdulahi » Sun Aug 14, 2016 1:29 pm

dear all,

I made an application under EEA dependant last year 31st of January, and i was refused due to some reasons, i appealed according to the home office, my hearing date is on october 20th, my wife gave birth now and my child is a british, and she is pregnant again with my second child.

my question is
can i go and defend myself in court without lawyer as i can't afford lawyer's price?

Do you have a 'defence'? (legally-grounded)
Are you capable of presenting such a case and refuting your adversary (barrister) in the context of a legal proceeding?

Have you approached any 'body' for help and support? For example a migrant support group; CAB; community lawcentre or etc?

You could also look into enlisting the support of a McKenzie friend:
