1. Yes, earnings only. but bear in mind as a contractor via a one-man limited company (connected person) UKVI will be very keen on the tax aspect, both personal (PAYE) and company (CT).dvadithala wrote:Hello Experts,
I have wife's spouse visa extension via FLR(M) category. I hold British passport and work as a IT contractor. Wife doesn't work.
Last Financial Year (June 2015 - May 2016): I made 16,340 by Salary and 11,800 by Dividends. That makes total 28,140.
Just to be clear, please can you answer following questions:
1. The requirement of 18,600 is earnings right, not savings?
2. Is it 18,600 for one person or both of us as wife doesn't work? Do Home Office expect 18,600 x 2 =37,200? Sorry, silly question but I wanted to get it right.
3. I read about "Adequate Maintenance Requirement". Does this mean I have to show some monies the bank? (Referring to "A – B ≥ C" equation)
I thank you in advance for reading and answering my queries.
Cheers,
Me
Understandable.dvadithala wrote:Sincere apologies. That is right, I will wait for someone to help. Thank you. Sometimes, it's hard to think straight, whilst I can only think about this extension and stressful documentation.
