URGENT - When did HO start 4 year extensions?

Hi there

I have been corresponding with my MP and need some info urgently. After the 3 April 2006 rule change they started giving 4 year extensions, but when exactly did they start doing this?

Does anyone know? Was it before the rule changes in November 2006? I really need to know urgently, please.

They started giving four years extension from April 2006

Yeah I was none too pleased since I was going to apply for ILR the next year. could have used a 4 year extension on the first renewal
