financial requirement FLR(M) salary raise

Post by sarabhg » Wed Aug 17, 2016 3:01 pm

Hello,
Because I am on a Tier 2 visa and currently make over the £18,600 required, I am using my salary as the sole financial requirement.
I've been working for the same company and making over the required amount for over a year, however I got a raise in March.

So, my question is: Should I put my current/previous lower salary as a category A?: Have you/your sponsor been in employment with the same employer and earning the amount specified in (xiv) below continuously for 6 months prior to the date of the application? (category A)

Or, Should I claim 2 different employments in category B?: f you answered no at (iii), have you/your sponsor been in other employment in the 12 months prior to the date of this application other than your or their current employment? (category B)

Thanks for your help

To simplify things I would just use the pay you were getting originally as the question asks if you were earning that amount continuously for the last 6 months. Then explain that you received a pay rise in March.

Yes, that's probably best. Thanks!
