Your points perhaps demanded prior attention. No wonder yours got cleared so fast. Congratulations once again and thank you so much for responding!thessalycoll wrote:It was for August! I had 70 points.

Yes.. you are right. I've been waiting for more than 2 months. My employer had made first attempt on 3rd June 2016 but HO came back raising some concerns with RLMT and then my Employer had to do it again in July before applying again in August.
Thanks

Hello Adviceme,adviceme wrote:Hi Kulmai,
I am not an expert but i am just thinking your status from pending to under review means that they are looking at your application now ?
Or you are very sure that pending is a better status than under review ?

Hello Kundan,
my assumption on the points calculation is :
1. If the RLMT is cleared : 30 points
2. If salary is above 20,800 : 20 points
3. If you clear SELT (english lang test) : 10 points
Is this right ? The more i am reading about points and rejections more nervous i am growing !!

Can you please let us know what was the issue with the RLMT and why you had to do it again?
I believe myself and other people are having the same issue this month with our applications being under review.
Thank you!
Thanks a tonne Kundan. Really appreciate your detailed explanation.Kundan-Yadav wrote:adviceme wrote:Kundan-Yadav wrote:Hi Guys..

Hi adviceme,
this is rite plus there are 10 more point you need under "maintenance of funds" making a total of 70... but these are for Visa Application and not for approval of COS.
Point calculation for COS is different. i'm not sure if the table in the below link is applicable now or not but this should give you some context. For the last 6-7 months the COS cutoff stood at 22, that means everyone who conducted RLMT properly with correct SOC code got the COS.

Hope this answered your query.
P.S. Please note that you won't get 20 point for "Appropriate Salary" even if your salary is above 20,800/- but less than the minimum amount applicable for your job SOC mentioned in "Code of Practice"..

thanks.

Please keep us updated on the status of your applications.
Mine still says under review. Applied on 3rd of August, additional documents sent in on 5th of August.
I will keep updated when I receive news from my employer.
Thanks a lot Ronin for the update, I haven't heard anything from my employer either. Has anyone else got any news from their sponsor?ronin wrote:Hi,
HO published August allocation figures. My one is still under review. Has anyone got any sort of update?
