A friend of mine need advice

Post by mefe » Mon Jan 21, 2008 7:06 pm

Hi Guys, what a valuable site. I have just told a friend about it and she has asked me to pose the following -

My friend came to the UK on a student visa, and as far as I know she did not attend the college/University. However, she ended up marrying a Phd student, thus obtained a spouse visa. Her husband has now finished his studies, but before their visa ran out she applied to switch her visa as a student in June 2007.

As at yet she has not heard from the Home Office - she is really tearing her hair out.

Now the question is/are - is she likely going to get the visa? Why is it taking so long?

Anyone in similar situation, I presume she will be please to hear from you.

Thanks
