Extended family member

Post by sandeshk » Fri Sep 09, 2016 9:07 pm

Hey Guys

Needed some advice

I am the family member of EEA national. I have EU resident card.
I wish to bring my Father and mother to UK from India.
What is the procedure to bring them over?

Thanks in anticipation

Is sponsor exercising treaty rights?
Do you have unimpeachable proof of dependency of the in-laws on Union citizen sponsor (and you) for their essential daily needs?

And why do you think parents are 'extended family member'? they are direct family member.

Loads lol.
Well I'm Pakistani national and my wife is Irish and I have same eu family permit like you.i submitted:
1. Certified Passport copies of sponsors
2. Remittances receipts when you've been financially supporting them.
3. 12 months payslips of sponsors
3. 12 months bank statements of sponsors
4. Employers letters of sponsors
5. Property report ( you have to show where they'll be living )
6. Sponsors tenancy agreement
7. Your birth certificate in English
8. Council tax
9. Utility bills
Than rest of the things your Soliciter will write which will be sponsors letter individual letter and than your invitation letter.
You need you parent whoever you've been sending money to their 12 months bank statement, if they're your dependents they shouldn't have enough money in their bank plus they shouldn't have any other source of income. ID cards of yours and theirs. Utility bills and marriage certificate of your parents.

Once my parents are here, Can they live separately or do they have to stay with us because my current house is not big enough for 5 people.

Well once they're here or doesn't matter where they live as long as show them any tenancy agreement or anything stating you have extra rooms for them. I have showed deposit slip that I paid £500 house deposit which has two bedroom flat and explain them that they'll be living in there. Once they are here we all move in a bigger house and I can apply for their 5 years family permit from there.

Thanks

One more things if you have any idea on this

Due to work reason I need to relocate close to my work. I will be still paying rent for my current house but and will also pay for the new rented house.
If I move will it effect my outcome when I apply for PR.
and do i need to inform office about the new rented house when i apply for PR

Shouldn't make any difference as long as you keep them updated with your new address.
