am a british citizen, and recently got married to a south african woman, after living together for 4yrs, we have a 9months old baby, the problem is she is an overstayer, she has been in U.K. since 2001 and only came with a 6mths visa but didnt return when it expired, i want to apply for a spouse visa/stay for her here in britain, can somebody please advice, she is currently working and studying for a degree in health and social care and takes exams twice every year for her studies :?:

Stop working and return home. Apply there for entry clearance as ur spouse but it's not going to be easy in today's immigration climate.

Alternative is to live in fear of the the HO removal crew and no chance of a return.
