Help pls

Post by rawgold » Wed Sep 14, 2016 7:36 pm

I will like the good people of these site to help me out...

I was once on unmarried partner visa but my relationship with my ex -partner ended after I got my indefinite leave to remain. And later got my British passport on my own because of the years have Been in the country.... Now am married to another person entirely and I'll like to apply for spouse visa for her to come into UK

My questions are...will I need any document to prove we are no longer together and what prove could that be?

Do I need a letter from my employer to support my online payslips.online version of the original copy with all relevant information on it eg logo, company name and definitely coloured. Will I still need a letter to support it

How long ago did the unmarried partner relationship end?

Your online payslips must be stamped/signed by company.

It should not be an issue.

However, a member recently reported a refusal of a spouse visa due to not informing HO of the unmarried partner relationship breakdown. Although this user had a very short timeframe between relationship end and marrying.

Thank you so much for your response..

I will also like to know if the 28 days rule is applicable to employer's letter requested for by the UKVI? Or is just applicable to payslips and bank statement... Prompt response will be highly appreciated.

Your letter from your employer should be within 28 days of the date of submission of visa application.

Just need clarification on the new changes to English language requirement coming to effect next month..my wife will be sitting for the A1 English test in October and she will not be applying till November, will the new changes be applicable to her. Please note, she will be applying for the first time and applying from outside U.K. For spouse/settlements visa.

A1 level English remains the requirement for the first Spouse Settlement visa application.
