General Issue - Settlement Visa - Delhi

Hi Guys,
as you may or may not be aware that my mate applied for a settlement visa at Delhi VFS on 19/08. We checked the status by phoning the premium number (£1.37/min) and was advised that the case has been delayed and the sponsor will be contacted in due course.

Now as we all do in anticipation - can someone please let us know when are they likely to contact (time frame).

Thanks casa, just wanting to know - how do they normally contact the sponsor (i.e. email or phone) and generally what type of question do they ask for?

I'm interested to know from the applicant or the applicant's sponsor regarding the method of contact and if in general questions.

Sorry Fellas for reposting and bumping it again, but would appreciate if someone can advise me that the method of UKVI contacting either the applicant or applicant's sponsor.
