ILR for someone over 18...any chance?

Post by kevin23 » Tue Jan 22, 2008 11:06 pm

Hello all,
I wanted to know what my chances are to get ILR given the fact that my parents already got theirs...but I'm 23 though. I'm currently on a IGS visa which will expire in November. At the moment, Im living with my parents and I'm not working anymore. I arrived here from a commonwealth country when I was 19 and finished my degree last year. So if anyone was in the same sort of situation and they their application failed or succeeded...please let me know.
Many thanks.

Were you a dependent of your parent/s visa, or did you arrive on your own visa?

If you were/are not on a dependent's visa, then you don't qualify for ILR and you'd have to qualify on your own accord.

Are you wholly or mainly finacially dependent on them? Did they pay your fees? Since your IGS visa, have you been working?
