ILR - Savings but not for 6 months

Post by gabu » Fri Sep 30, 2016 11:39 am

Hi there,

Can we provide any other proofs to demonstrate we have money enough?

I have put the cash into the account, so we meet the financial test from a quantum, but not a time, perspective (less than 6 months).

We have a good amount of personal wealth - the house without mortgage, a classic car portfolio, pension and other investments of well over the requirements (all documentable), showing a good net worth .

Can we provide these documents?

I have edited your post to remove the figures you have quoted for safety reasons. There are a number of scammers and spammers who visit the forum.

You need to provide evidence of immediately accessible cash for a minimum of 6 months if you want to use savings.

Do you have a salary or monthly income?

Hi,

Thanks. No at the moment. I have been working for many years abroad with a high salary. Now I have a job offer and I will start working next November.

You need 6 months savings proof or 6 months salary proof.

Have you been earning the equivalent of £18,600 outside of the UK for the 12 month period prior to re-locating to the UK, with a confirmed job offer in the UK to start within 3 months of arrival, again meeting the £18,600 minimum income level?

I admire those who have been able to provide answers to this thread.

The title says ILR.

We dont know much about whether this is an application to join a settle person . The nature of the relationship and so on.

You're right Obie, and my post will be completely irrelevant if this is an application for ILR.

British OP intimates wife (abroad) is joining him in UK:

That thread does not appear to assist.

It appears from my reading that OP was referring to a 3rd person.

No indication she was referring to her son or husband in the UK.
