Query from Home Office

Post by Hussaini Z » Thu Sep 29, 2016 9:26 pm

Hi,

I applied for a spouse visa via CAT B as i have a new permanent job but was agency before and have earned way above the threshold in the past 12 months. I also mentioned that i receive PIP due to a health issue. He was very inquisitive how i hold down a job due to my health condition. I was upfront that it is managed myself so its not an issue.

Will they ring my wife in PK now?

How soon will i find out the decision.

He was very abrupt... very nervous now

Hope someone can shed sum light on the process.

Thanks

Generally it does.

Dear Hassaini Z,

Was it your first application? I notice out timeline is quite similar but I haven't had no enquiry call from HO as yet.

Did they contact your employer too? How long was the call?

Many thanks

How long was the HO telephone enquiry and were they quite aggressive on the phone? Good luck to you, please keep us updated with your progress and I shall do the same

I think the phone call was 5-7 minutes long.

The problem was i was caught off guard.. i was at work in clinic.. and there was like 10 calls on a private number and it kept on ringing.. so i ran out and answered... i wouldn't say aggressive...but very abrupt.. I was thinking he will call my employer next but he didn't...

I will keep u all updated..and praying for u all... please keep us updated as well...

Insha'Allah you hear good news very soon.

Just looked at your timeline, did you submit a priority application?

We submitted a standard online app on 1st August and biometrics on 9th August. Do you know which date are the 12 weeks counted down from? Running out of patience now :(
