Just two FLR(M) form questions - confusing wording

Post by menwall » Sun Oct 09, 2016 6:47 pm

Hi all,

Just been through the FLR(M) form after gathering all the evidence.

Could some kind soul please advise on the following 2 questions on the FLR(M) form which we were a bit confused what to put:

1)In the English requirement section we have filled out 'Trinity College' and our SELT Unique reference number. It then asks for the awarding body if you are relying on a test taken for previous applications which we are not. It then goes on to ask Title, Level, Date and Award Reference Number - can someone please confirm if these 4 boxes are only relevant for if we are relying on an old test and that just filling in the SELT number and provider is enough?

2) Page 65 Section 13B:

At the top it asks "If you are applying for a first extension of stay as a spouse or civil partner, in addition to the
relevant documents in sub-section 13A, you must provide the following documents:
[] Your civil marriage certificate or civil partnership certificate"

This is not my wife's first extension of stay as it is her second FLR(M) application (she arrived on a fiance, then got a spouse visa via FLR(M) and this is her second FLR(M) application). But we still plan to provide the wedding certificate as proof of marriage/relationship and prove I am her sponsor etc! So do we tick the box or not?

Many thanks

Actually I now have an additional question re: question wording. In the financial requirements section my wife has ticked the box to say she is applying with 0 dependents an has to meet an 18600 income.

Then the next paragraph talks about how much you will need if you are applying with dependents and then it asks "Please indicate the financial requirement you must meet" - I wonder is this just for those with a lot of dependents or is it a box to reaffirm it is 18600 we need to meet?

Thanks alot
