Hi,
I have been working(WP) in UK for the past 3 years. My parent company is in bangalore and I am working for a client in UK. To apply for HSMP my biggest problem is the earnings. I am in UK_FSM which means they give allowance in UK and basic salary in Indian account.
Are there any provision where we can show earnings from two different countries in HSMP application?
If so what is the procedure to do that?
I mean which salary slip, bank statement to be shown?
You advice is very much appreciated.

Since your prime residence in the last year has been UK, only ur UK income will be considered.
In order to help you, can you let us know if you are getting the necessary points with your UK income alone ?
You need to show sal slips and P60 as primary form of evidence.Since you've already been here for 3 years. I believe your company must be paying proper tax, can you verify this with your finance dept ? Also ask them for ur P60. Your income in P60 must match with the sal slips, if not you can go for exceptional evidence like bank stmt and letter from employer

Thanks SKUK.
Following is the distribution of points obtained if I show only my UK earnings.
Age 10
Earnings 25
Education 30
UK Bonus Points 5
Total 70
I already have P60 and salary slips.
If I show my UK + India earning my Total points will go to 80.
Are there any provision for this?

Tikpal,
I m afraid there is no provision for this unless someone else in the forum can advise otherwise. Here is what the guidance notes say:
Those seconded overseas from their normal country of work.
Applicants who have been seconded overseas during the last fifteen months and whose salary continues to be paid in the normal manner by their employer should be assessed against the country where they have been working during their secondment. In order for us to establish which country code to consider their earnings against, the applicant should provide evidence of where they have been working and where their salary has been paid for the period they wish us to consider, up to a maximum of twelve months.
If an applicant is working in a country but having their income paid into a bank account in another country, their income will be considered against the country code where they are working.

Hiya,
Can you provide some clarity on the UK Allowance you receive? Do you pay tax on that allowance in the UK? Does the UK allowance (converted to INR) reflect in your India payslips?
You mentioned you receive a P60. Is that a "notional" P60, just reflecting your allowances for the purpose of tax equalisation and accounting entries, or is it a proper P60 on which you pay tax in the UK? Who pays you the allowance in the UK?
Cheers.

Hi!
To give more clarity on the UK allowance I receive.
My company is paying me GBP 27k (UK account)+ basic salary and bonus in INR (Indian account).
For GBP 27K (UK allowance) :
1. Tax is paid properly
2. Separate payslip provided
3. P60 is not notional, its a proper P60 and the tax is paid properly in UK
4. Separate bank statements available
For basic salary and bonus in India
1. Tax is paid properly
2. I have proper records of form 16 and SARAL for this
3. Separate pay slip and bank statements available.
If I include both components (UK allowance + indian salary) I will be getting around GBP 38K, so the points for earning will be much better for me.
Now my main concern is there any provision for this?
Did anyone previously faced a similar experience
Please guide me on this guys!!!!!

It means that your Indian salary plus uk earnings when clubbed together had fulfilled the requirement and you had earned suitable points. Please correct me if I am wrong.
thanx.

Hi thikpal,
Please let me know whether you applied HSMP yourself.
OR you approached any immigration consultant.
If so, please let me know which immigration consultant you approached.
Thanks,

Thanx thinkpal,
I calculated salary by filling online form which home office has put in their site.It automatically adds up.It means that visa office is considering all the salaries which have been earned by an individual anywhere in the globe. But it has to be documented.
