FLR M Extension & days spent out of country

Post by ahz84 » Sun Oct 09, 2016 4:58 pm

Hi There,

I am a british national & my wife is on FLR M Visa.
She will be completing the first 26 months of her visa next year August and will be applying for an extension.

My Questions is:

1) Is there any rule regarding how long can she stay out of the country. As we were out of country for a 1.5 in Summer & we have to go for a wedding in winter for another 1.5 months?

Appreciate if you can reply as I have to book tickets and based on the rule my dates will be decided.

thanks,

1. No, there is no limit. For ILR, only absences of 6 months or more need to be declared.

Thank you very much.

Can I also take the liberty to ask another question relating to renewl.

The income requirement is £18600.

Can It be £10,000 my income
& 10,000 my wife's income

We both have companies registered in our names?

thanks,

Yes, joint income can be used for FLR(M) extension.

Please continue in your own topic regarding your own FLR(M) application rather than tagging onto other members topics and creating confusion when members respond.
