ON ILR NEED TO RENEW PASSPORT

I have been in the UK for 6 years this year and have been on ILR since 2011. I am wondering if I can renew my Australian passport at the Embassy ? Understandably my visa cannot be transferred but does anyone know this process?

If your ILR is a vignette inside your passport you can travel with this, together with your new passport. The Australian Embassy in the UK should issue a new passport without a problem.
