tier 2 extension - supporting documents

Post by nomiw » Sun Oct 30, 2016 1:37 pm

I'm planning to extend my tier 2 (general) visa from within the UK. My previous visa is in an expired passport.
Will I need to send in both my current passport and the expired one when I submit the application?
Thank you.

Hello,

Yes, you need to send the passport with the current VISA even if it's expired.

I also sent extra docs such as :
* Marriage certificate and translation if you apply with dependent (just in case);
* Last 3 playslips and a letter from the company confirming the authenticity of my payslips and confirming my salary (because of the salary requirement);
* Police registration (if it was required to do when you arrived);

Just got my approval and now waiting for the BRP. :D

visa or not, you are required to send all previous passports anyway as part of application
