Time frame for acknowledgement??

Dear All,

I had applied to Canada immigration using the simplified application process under the skilled worker program somewhere in November mid last year i.e, 2007. I have applied from Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. I had registered post it to the office in UK, but unfortunately upto now I have no information whether the application has reached the destination or not, I'm worried because its been around 3 months since then and I have no info regarding this. Can anybody help me or guide me as to what should I do?

If you sent it registered post you can track it and ensure that it arrived? Did same for ours and we were able to look at Royal Mail website and see copy of the receiving person's signature and date and time it was received. Do you have an equivalent service in Saudi?

With regards to timeframes. Some people never get an AOR. Early last year they were saying expect AOR in 16 weeks in UK. At the end of the year they were pushing them out in five-six weeks.
