When did she get her first PBS dependent visa?

On what basis did you apply for ILR, 5 years PBS route or 10 years long residence?

Seems like you were granted ILR via SET(O)?

Answering Amber's and CR001's questions would help them to answer your questions.

HI,
Thanks for response.

My wife got her first visa in March 2003 for a year and then she had her first extension in Jan 2004 which is going to expire in Jan 2017

i came here on Tier 1 general in 2009 and had 3 and 2 year extensions and then ILR and then passport.

hope it clarifies.

Thank you

PBS Dependent extension application.

I am assuming you have just mis-typed the years and mean 2013 and 2014 and NOT 2003 and 2004.

FLR(M) would only be relevant if you had obtained your ILR through long residence.

FLR(M) re-sets the spouse's immigration clock to zero, putting them on a new 5 year route to settlement (2.5 + 2.5 years).

The time previously spent as a PBS dependent would be lost and only taking into consideration if the (dependent) spouse is later applying for ILR under 10 year long residence.

Also FLR(M) requires payment of the NHS surcharge @ £500 for each 2.5 year extension in addition to the visa fee.

Hi there,
hope you guys doing well.

i have a question around Passport Validity, is it really a requirement or a myth that your passport have to be valid for more than 6 months if you are applying for extension?

i m applying for my wife's extension in January and her passport is expiring in June 2017,

will really appreciate any help

Thanks

There is no requirement that the passport must be valid for at least 6 months, which is why you cannot find it in the requirements. It must be valid at the time of application.

Suggest don't believe everything you 'hear'

Hi
i would really appreciate some urgent help please.

I applied for my wife's dependent visa under Tier 1 category thru post.

after a week, i recieved a letter from Home office asking me to use 2017 verson of the application form(i applied in decemt 2016 so i used the 2016 form)

thats fine, i can fill in the latest form and send back but there are few things i dont have them with me, for example previous passports, i dont remeber the numbers, they are all currently with Home office.

similiarly Home office reference number was on her Visa on her pasport which id ont have either.

what should i do? shall i provide the current passport number (i have copies) but for rest, i should say i dont have them with me , homeffice has them? same for reference number?

please guide

thanks
