Applied for EEA PR, can I quit my job?

Hello,
I have applied for EEA PR about two months ago, now I am considering quitting my job without having a new one. I might do some voluntary job for few months to gain experience in new field as I want to change my career. Would that affect my application? As I have to let the HO know about it. If I quit I will loose worker status as I wouldn't be eligible for jobseakers allowance, is that correct?

Yes, its a material change so let HO know.
You need CSI if becoming selfsufficient.

JSA is nothing to do with EU migration and acquiring PR.

If caseworker checks with employer and finds you are not there your application may be refused.
Suggest keep working until status is secured; with Brexit looming you can't take chances.
