Is my daughter qualify for British passport

I will like to ask for advise on this forum. My ex wife had a child for me in 2008 while i was on a student visa but our marriage broke down and got divorce in 2012 and she return back to Nigeria with our only child. Now am a British citizen. is my child a British citizen or not and if not how can i bring her back.

Unfortunately, no, as neither parents were settled nor British at the time of child's birth.

But your child will be eligible to register under section 1 (3) and then you will be able to bring him or her back to the UK.

Obie is correct. She is entitled to register on form MN1.

There is a possibility that biometric enrolment can be done overseas, but there are 2 systems running them in country applications.
