Extended or permanent visa for MIL

Post by innocentgirl » Sat Feb 02, 2008 3:42 pm

My MIL is visiting us in UK at the moment for the second time. Both times shes had a 6 month visa. I was wondering how difficult it would be to obtain a longer visa for her -2yrs-5yrs. Would it involve any additional expense. The last 2 times she used the original documents we sent her the first time. Would we need to send more documents for a permanent visa? or money?
I'm british and my hubby is Pakistani nationality. Hes got indefinite leave to remain but he just hasnt applied for citizenship yet.
Any advice would be appreciated.

How old is she; is she still married; what does she do (work) and does she have any other children or dependants?
