Family Visa

Post by jamal385 » Wed Nov 30, 2016 5:57 pm

Dear all

Please give me sometime to read and respond.
I got my ILR in March 2016 on 10 years basis. Subsequently my two kids got UK Nationality .
I intend to apply for my spouse on FLR(M) now. My spouse visa is going to expire in Jan 2017 and I intend to apply her FLR(M) in Dec 2016. I am self employed and since April 2016 to Nov 2016 my income has crossed over £18600 financial requirement.

I was reading page 57 of home office document "Immigration Directorate Instruction Family Migration:
Appendix FM Section 1.7" at :
https://www.gov.uk/government/uploads/s ... rement.pdf
I am not sure of the exact interpretation of following paragraph and it's implementation in my case:

"9.1. Category F: Last full financial year
9.1.1. Where the applicant’s partner (and/or the applicant if they are in the UK with permission to work) is in self-employment, or is the director of a specified limited company in the UK, at the date of application, they can use income from the last full financial year to meet the financial requirement. "

Please let me know that if I sent accounts for the current financial year (not full year) from April 2016 to Nov 2016 (8 months) for my spouse visa , will it be acceptable ?
Thanks

Self employment is a difficult category. They will want to see accounts, bank statements etc for the last FULL financial year. So that means April 2015 - April 2016.

FLR(FP) as a partner may be possible.
