Post by nasmc92 » Thu Nov 24, 2016 1:44 pm

When do we count 8 weeks for processing

From the date we have applied online
or
from the date the application is received at HO
or
from the date the acknowledgement letter is issued stating that it will take 8 weeks

thanks

Usually, they sent letter if it took longer than 8 weeks! Didn't you receive any that kind of letter! what weeks you are in now?

nope no contact or any letter from HO

I applied online on 30th September and at the minute its end of 9th week. I did call them yesterday and I have been advised that application is still in process. the guy on the phone was really nice and he said that 6th Oct was the last day when my application was looked and after that it is still in processing.

**6th oct, Biometric letter was issued.
I am really stressed at the minute that if they were unable to process it within specified time frame then atleast send me a letter but nothing has been sent over.

if they say that there are a lot of applications and they are unable to process so why on earth applications submitted on 6th 0r 7th Oct are already processed and decision have been made.

how about your case. Any news . when did you apply again after refusal ?

Thanks for the reply! I am worried as well..its still on process..i got that complex letter 2 weeks back..so dont know how long they will take. I think you or your lawyer can write to HO asking for the update and emergency. And you can contact to your local MP as well to help you.

Good luck :) I dont minf if they took time..i just pray and hope that the result should come positive.

Please can you provide me with contact details where you send the letter

**I didn't have any such letter and they do state that after 6th October no one has looked my file

this is really annoying at the minute that no work or feedback available from Caseworker
