NHS Surcharge Refund

Post by thisthing2 » Tue Dec 06, 2016 5:16 pm

Hi,

I have recently received my BRP according to which my visa is extended until 03-05-2019 because of Tier 2's 5 year limit as my visa initially started on 03-05-2013.

I applied the visa extension application on 13-10-2016 as my visa was expiring on 27-12-2016 (3y 7m 24d) so on the extension application the start date was 27-12-2016 and end date was 27-12-2019 and I've paid £1200 (+1 dependent) for IHS - 3 years.

Since the visa extension I've now got is 7m 24d short of 3 years can I get £200 refund back (£100 per 6m per applicant)?

I will be very thankful for your time and reply.

Thank you gag285,
According to this, I will have to wait for 90 days before a refund can be issued and rely on them to figure out if the refund is even due. Please correct me if I am wrong.
