Hi,

The only thing which you have missed out is a notary letter for the difference in name. You can call up the UK office and ask them to hold your application and then resubmit it again with notary letter. Make sure that they dont deduct the amount for your application.

Hi itsjaydeep,
if you have your first name and your surname , mentioned in passport, fully in all your documents then you will have very low risk of rejection. Dont much worry about extra names in the certificate.

Name with Initials usually wont cause much problem. But since in your case you have lot of names in degree cetrtificate, atleast if you have your first name and surname fully on it (without like initials), there is high probability to pass

But I can say chances to pass is 95%. I cannot say it as 100%.

If you have submitted a judicial affidavit that all those names represent same person you would have had 100% chance

But dont worry much, As long as case worker not getting some doubt on the certificate may belong to another person, he wont reject it

Or if you get some bad caseworker who is looking for some silly reason to reject then also there is chances for rejection.

There are many examples of cases who has failed on name issue. Also there are many examples of cases who have passed with situation like you.

then I think you no need to worry too much for this

you name wont be of any issue for 99%

That 1% risk is not only with you, almost with all applicants who do not have this name problem and given a complete application also will have that 1% risk in some other areas

Just a word of caution

A Notary Certificate / Affidavit does not strengthen a case during the HO Application phase thats the stance of case workers.

If u happen to have cleared ur hsmp with an affidavit , it only means that even without the affidavit u would have cleared it because its ignored by caseworkers.

For ur kind information,All the applications are processed only after they receive the payment.If u get a reference number it means that they have already got the fee.As long as the decission is not taken u can submit "N"
number of additional documents without exra fee.

Guys i had a similiar issue but only with one word difference in my last name. I have submitted an Indian Affidavit to state that both the names are mine. I am in UK and have applied through here. Would they accept Indian Notarized letter?? PLS HELP.
