Can bankruptcy affect my ILR application?

Can bankruptcy affect my ILR application?

My husband is in disability, getting benefits, and he is planning to go with bankruptcy next month.
I'm here in U.K with spouse visa since 2 months, not working because of my husband situation.
So ca his bankruptcy affect my second visa application?

It may do if you are unable to meet the adequate maintenance income level that enabled you to qualify for your spouse visa.

However, when you apply for your FLR(M) extension any earnings you have will be considered.

I strongly suggest that your husband seeks free advice from the CAB regarding bankruptcy.
(Casa, not CR001)
