Dear All, many thanks for this wonderful forum.
I am due for ILR in Mar 2017. However, my wife and daughter are my dependant on Tier 1 Ent visa. My wife came in the UK for the first time under this category as dependant in June 2013. This means, she is not eligible for ILR until June 2018. Daughter was born around the same time, however my daughter doesn't have to wait until then as she can be registered as British once I get ILR.
The situation is tricky, they both are my dependant and I believe at the time of my ILR, I will be applying for my wife's extension as Tier 1 Dependant as if I don't, she will be overstayer. The question is;
Can I not apply for my daughter who is 3 years old and once I get ILR I register her as British. Can it be possible? My daughter is currently my dependant just like my wife but I wanted to ask if I can avoid my daughter's application and save considerable extension fee?
The next question is, I am applying for my wife's extension as Tier 1 dependant but once I get ILR, do I have to switch her visa category again and paying a fresh fee?
THE WHOLE PROBLEM IS COINCIDING DATES AS WE ALL HAVE TO APPLY AT THE SAME TIME?
MUCH APPRECAITED YOUR VALUABLE TIME IF YOU CAN PLEASE CLARIFY ABOVE. THANKS
