BC moving to Ireland SS

Post by paras1234 » Tue Jan 10, 2017 10:32 pm

first of all thank you to all the member on this website for sharing their experience questions and answer it really helps a lot

I have posted this question while ago however I need some more clarification on my situation and any help is greatly appreciated

I am married to British Citizen we have been together for 5 years now

We had our hearing on 22 April 2016 however it was refused and we went tribunal and UP etc

we have just recently put in FLR FP application however I see very little hope in it

so we are thinking to move to Ireland and do the SS way

we are thinking that I will go the Belfast way and move in Ireland my wife will take direct flight to cork is that okay?

and she will start working when she arrives in Ireland after we have settle down in a house

so my question is how long does she have to work for before she apply the visa for me?

what is my status in Ireland while she is working for few month as I will be going from Belfast?

When she applies will I get 6 months visa first or 5 years?

I am sorry if these have answered before and any help would be great

Thank you
Paras

I'm quessing that you posting 7 duplicate topics were unintentional?

There's no need to post 7 duplicate topics. One will do.

Note that they are making the SS route more difficult.

Posting 7 times does not make the answer 7 times better or SS 7 times easier.

You will not get any visa on SS route.

And due to your past failures in UK you are likely to be seen as attempting to circumvent UK immigration route.
So its likely to be a hiding to nothing.

Not clear why you ask about SS then.
so we are thinking to move to Ireland and do the SS way
If dependent of an EEA citizen you don't need a visa to reside in Eire.
And any RC is optional.

Get up to speed here:
http://ec.europa.eu/justice/citizen/doc ... 013_en.pdf

You can dig into Eire specifics on INIS website.

You're getting the entry requirements of the UK and Ireland confused. Ireland only issues a free 90-day visa for family members of EEA citizens if they are visa required otherwise you just travel straight to Ireland. You may apply for a residence card within the 90 days. There is no six-month family permit (Only the UK issues that).

Suggest you read the Irish Website as suggested previously

Hi yeah I am very confused at the moment lol sorry

Okay so like you said Ireland issued 90 days free visa to
Family member of eea national how can this be done?

Do we go at Ireland board together with our proof
Relationship and get 90 days visa there even though
I don't have any visa in U.K. just a valid application

Thank you so much your help

hi para im not good at explaining but will try, if u r in the uk and have ur passport in hand u can travel with ur partner, if u dnt have ur passport and hav an ID and marriage cert u need to travel with ur partner via northen ireland and if u ever come across any road block show them article 5 of he eu directive, go to google and serach for eu directive and print it out and take it with u, when u get to the airport tell them u guys are exercising ur eu treaty rights, if they try to be funny show the the directive and then u will be given 90 days in those 90 days EU must find work or register for self employment, apply for pps number then u have to send in a form called EU1 form, form will tell u wots needed if u dnt have enough documents send a cover letter that u will send more documents within 6 months, after sending eu1 form mayb within 3 months u will be sent a letter tto go and collect ur stamp4 thats ur 6 months temp visa, if eu cont to workafter 6 month u will be granted ur 5 year RC
