Letter received from Home Office

Post by shan101 » Fri Jan 13, 2017 9:09 pm

Dear members I received a letter today from home office. It says " it is not possible to decide your application withing eight weeks because your application raises exceptionally complex issues and we need more time to consider your case".
Does it mean that they wont interview me?

Normally how long it could take to decide my application if they dont interview me?

Has any body else received the same letter?

I am on 50K route as a sole director of my limited company and my time line is as under:

Applied for Ext on 7th December 2016
Bio metric done on 29th December 2016
Letter received today on 13th January 2017

Thanks

It is a standard (and common) letter. Many people get them, across all sorts of UK visa applications, i.e. it is not specific for Tier 1 Ent.

It also does not mean that you won't be interviewed but it also does mean you will be interviewed.

It simply means your application will take longer than the published timeframes.

Hi Guys,

I too received the same exact letter without the "we require to interview you" part.

Applied Dec 11th
Biometrics Dec 29th
Letter received Jan 13th

I am a 50k extension applicant as director of my own company.

Keep us posted if anyone received further communication.
