Tier 1 entrepreneur visa extension

Post by inaam.cs » Mon Jan 16, 2017 10:21 pm

Can anybody shed some light on it its regarding Tier 1 visa entrepreneur extension.
I have started and finished the 50K investment in 3rd year. In second year i took small amount as salary for myself for few months. Does it have any impact on my 50K investment meaning do I need to put that amount back?
Thanks

According to Guidance

Invested or spent by the applicant’s business excludes spending on all of the following:
• their own remuneration
• buying the business from a previous owner, where the money ultimately goes to that previous owner (irrespective of whether it is received or held directly or indirectly by that previous owner) rather than into the business being purchased
- this applies regardless of whether the money is channelled through the business en route to the previous owner, for example by means of the applicant or business purchasing ‘goodwill’ or other assets which were previously part of
the business
• investing in businesses (other than those the migrant is running as self-employed or as a director)
• any spending which is not directly for the purpose of establishing or running their own business or businesses

I hope it Helps

So it means i have to put the amount back. I work as main software developer for my company so I cannot take salary then? Although my company's revenue/sales are around 45K each year and i can't take the salary out. Right?

Yes you can, But not from Investments.
Your sales/revenues are Income not Investments.

Thanks that's quite a relief. One more point please. I have transferred 50K from my personal account to business as director's loan. But during the 3 year period my company has also made sales/income of almost 130K. So even i took some money as my salary for few months I am safe and I don't need to put that back?
