Dilemma

Post by angeloick » Wed Jan 25, 2017 7:11 pm

I am posting my application for ILR set(o) on this Friday
last Friday I had an interview for an account assistant position with a good company ,today I received the job offer
Happy because the job is closer to home but by sending my application on Friday I will not have any document to present on my starting day
My question
what can I do ? speak to their HR and explain myself or just say no to the offer?
please any help will be appreciated

You should certainly discuss this with the HR, asking them to instead do a Home Office employee check on you instead. A suggestion could be to start the job with a clause for visa or extended discretionary period until your ILR arrives or something.
I am not sure what visa you are on but why don't you try the premium service for ILR instead of posting ?

Hi zimba88
To be honest I can not afford a premium service at the moment after 6 months without a job
I will try to speak with the HR and hear what they can do
