Flr (FP)

Post by a--R » Thu Jan 26, 2017 9:06 pm

Hi all,

Dear moderators and senior member your guidance is needed in below case.
1- I have been granted ILR on basis of LR
2- one kid born in U.K. Applied for his MN1 + passport via jcap

3- 5 years old kid living in uk and going to school but born back home
4- wife came to U.K. On student dependent in 2010 since extending her stay with visa expiring March.

Unfortunately I am unable to meet financial req as short of few thousands so have to go for flr fp partner route.

Any suggestion you can give me which will make case positive for her ? I can still show income around 20k will it make any difference even in flr fp
Is it worth going to peo for such case ?

Thanks

Ar

Apply by post. In-person applications aren't for complex cases as the junior level case workers at the PSC simply don't have the level of authority to make a decision. At best the application would join the postal queue for the premium fee.

Considering you have children there's a good chance of the application being granted, but ensure you apply for FLR(FP) before the current visas expire.

Ok thanks much appreciated
Also as she came in 2010 even if she goes on 10 year partner route via flr (fp) she will still be eligible to apply ILR on the basis of LR ?

Many thanks for answering

Yes. All legal residence qualifies for ILR(LR). That's another good reason why you must ensure you don't let your wife's visa expire before submitting a FLR(FP) application.
