maxpayne131 wrote:Hi mana1, any news from the HO? I was reading some previous threads on this forum, and found a case similar to yours in which a member called Zahirsonar (something) did not receive his RC for over 5 month, he and his solicitor wrote several letters to the HO, Court and MP. Later they have to threaten the HO with legal action stating that they should have issued a RC within 8 weeks, since they have not for over 4 months now they will drag the HO to court and will ask them to pay compensation for the time. Surprisingly after sending this letter he got his RC within 7 days. Please go back to page 9-13 (can't remember the exact page number) and follow a member called Zahir. If you think what he did was any effective then maybe you could follow too to get your RC sorted. Keep me updated. Thanks

PS: New forum members any updated? Please share what is going on with your cases. I am still waiting for an appeal almost six months have passed. Thank you all.
Hi mate,i haven't got any news yet as I'm still waiting to hear from the HO and I understand what you are trying to say but I can't take legal action against them yet as it's only been 5weeks since I got my determination so they still have 7weeks to sort out my case as it takes 12weeks from the date you receive the determination to get the visa issued.i hope you will get you hearing date before the end of this year.

Hello Everyone.
Been silent follower of this useful forum. By grace of Allah(most merciful and greatest ) , my EEA appeal is allowed today. It has been 2 years of struggle and wait and I can really and truly understand the pain of every member in this forum and wish everyone happy decisions.
I want to find out what will happen next as my passport is with me and how long the whole procedure could take before I can travel .

@mana1 Congratulations, atleast you know they are not sleeping. I tried calling them today same old reply that they cannot comment on the time scale, six months i've been waiting and no clue of my status, cannot take any job and worst of all cannot leave this depressing country. The lady on the phone said that we are extremely busy and I cannot confirm any time frame whatsoever! what a joke!! and they call African and Asian countries 3rd world. Only laughable. Hope you get yourself sorted and come out of this mess bro.

@Bilal thank you for replying, can you please share your timeline so that we get a rough idea on waiting times? Thanks

PS: Forum members could someone suggest any way by which i could get an early date from tribunal, funny since I am saying an early date after waiting six months of no reply. Please reply forum members, anyone who has managed to get an early date please share your experience, your reply could tremendously help someone in your situation. Regards and Bless.

@maxpayne thanks mate but I had to flipin wake them up with a few emails requesting my award fee refund and I had to send them a copy of the Decision as they was claiming that they are waiting the decision from the tribunal "jokers".On the other hand I understand the stress u going through but the only way u could get an early hearing date is if u got an emergency like a death with evidence in the family(God forbid) and gotta travel but other than that it's just wait wait wait as they keep saying in there phone centre.,they just want to make us mentally exhausted and give up but we mentally strong and we won't give up.I hope everyone waiting gets something to cheer them up for the New year.bless

Hey guys and mana1 . Yes i hope you all get your brp before new year as a present. HO is many times lying about things like they lost docs in post , long queue many times they changing stories.
HO system is certainly not there to help you guys with visa but they want to exhaust you and insult you so you can leave country on your own .

Well for my BRP they sent me an email that they are not sending any BRp card . And the vigenette on passport is enough.
I don't know why but i will seek some professional advise, never seen like this .

@shaaki.fabi hi mate most of them people working in the HO call centre flipin don't know what they are doing of course they have to give you a BRP as it's supposed to show what you are entitled too in this country them silly people. You can report to the HO online that your BRP hasn't arrived after 10days since you received your decision letter allowing you to stay in this country and that's if u never missed a delivery from DX the company contacted by the HO to deliver BRPs(http://www.gov.uk) follow the link and they should reply within 5 working days as it says on their website.Good luck

Hi all, would just like to know if someone has been in my shoes before. I applied for my RC sometimes in march 2016, refused in September because the home office said my spouse's passport was reported as lost or stolen , but what was funny was , my spouse is Portuguese with a Portuguese passport, which was submitted with my application, but the home office said "we have it in record that the Netherlands passport you submitted had been reported lost or stolen and has been retained and returned to the Netherlands embassy. which is baffling as 1)she is not dutch and 2) never reported her passport as stolen. Made a paper appeal in sep and was given a deadline of 14 nov for submission of evidence. I have not heard anything since then and I have been wondering how long I will have to wait to be answered.

Happy new year everyone, hope everything is sorted soon for everyone.

Hi dinotinto, I have never heard anything like this before pal if I'll be honest. The best thing you could do is patiently wait, unfortunately I cannot comment anymore on your situation. Maybe some other members have been through your situation and they might reply.

Hi Mana, any updates on your case?

New forum member please reply with what is going on with your cases, any updates? Thank you.

Thanks max, Its actually very strange as I have never heard of such case before as well. The wait could just be really stressful, as I have got a lot of travelling to do. Submitted my appeal since September and January is almost gone. I thought the paper appeal was faster though.

Good Evening Honorable members of this forum,

I requested to expedite my eea ROR appeal which was accepted by the tribunal. I had the hearing on 14th of November 2016 and received decision on 08th of December 2016 in which appeal was allowed :) .

I have contacted Home Office Liverpool team and explained them that my mum is not feeling well. I also explained them that I requested to expedite my appeal with the relevant hospital letters and tribunal accepted the reason and that I want to travel ASAP.

They said to me to wait for 90 days but I could not have any definite answer from them regarding the contact of Post decision team.

My question from Honorable members is that if someone could please provide the e-mail, phone number or postal address so, I could request Home Office to issue me the residence card ASAP.

Thanks for your cooperation in advance.

Hi all, I had my appeal allowed finally on 11th of January, few days short of 4 months since I appealed. The judge noted the error the HO made with the passport's country of issue and to top it, the home office had no proof of the passport being reported. Since that was the only issue they had with me, I am just wondering how long I will have to wait for to get my RC.

Hi Mana, any good news bro? I sent a letter to tribunal urging for an early date, needless to say it got rejected. 5 months and I am still waiting, I think my hearing day will not be before august. Cant do anything, I wake up stressed out in the mornings and this whole issue is in my mind before sleep. I think it is a test of our strengths.

Anyways let me know what is the progress in your case bro, bless.

Hi dinotinto, congratulations mate, you finally got over this visa sh...

Mana did you not said that you MP assured you that you will receive a reply from HO. If you have not received a reply yet, then please contact your MP again, MPs have 100s of people visiting them, is likely that they never followed up with HO. If you contact your MP and tell them that you have still not received your RC then they might send them another letter, which will put extra pressure on HO to send you the RC. BTW are you from London area or from North? Because cases from London seems to take longer to be sorted then cases from rest of the country. I think this is because most of the immigration cases are from London and surrounding areas.
Take care of yourself and keep me updated, bless.

PS: Silent readers please update with your cases, it is good to discuss what is going on with your case it eases the mental pressure and talking to people in similar situation gives you a feeling that you are not bearing everything on your own. BLESS.
