I think you have got to apply for ilr with a hope. its a touch and go thing
You seem to be fine. Your have an employment gap between 7th Aug 2015 and 24 Sep 2015 (date of application) which is less than 60 days.bbreddy wrote:.... Can you please advise if I have broken the continuous period of 60 days in my case. I am due for ILR Later this year.

Not necessarily 4 people who posted on the forum. Any details, names or contact information is not permitted to be posted either.happytohelp wrote:iworker wrote:There has been 1 case on this forum where the ilr was rejected. But i also know 4 other people who had the ilr without any issues.

Dear iworker, thank you for the prompt response to mengo's query. I noted that you have mentioned above that 'you also know 4 other people who had their ILR without any issues'. Would you kindly be able to help with their details so we can take specific advise regarding this issue and how to best prepare the paperwork for submission. Unfortunately, I am in a similar situation and need advice for this critical application.
Many thanks.
Thank you CR001 for the clarification. I meant to discuss with iworker on PM if there was specific advice from previous cases. Would that be ok?CR001 wrote:Not necessarily 4 people who posted on the forum. Sorry to hear that UK_01.UK_01 wrote:Hi Mengo,
Sorry to hear about your situation. I am in a similar situation where the gap between last date of employment and new Tier 2 is 66 days. HO have refused my application for ILR.
I was just wondering if you could tell what was the outcome of your AR if you had chosen to exercise it?
Help from any other senior members is greatly appreciated.
Thanks a lot

Do you have am update on you case please?Umxr wrote: ↑Mon Apr 10, 2017 12:13 amHi Mengo,
Sorry to hear about your decision. I am also in a similar situation and my current Tier 2 is expiring in Sept 17. I was thinking of applying for ILR before the expiry but not sure whether it will be accepted given that the gap is 87 days. Could you please let me know what happened with your AR process? What are you doing now?
Any help would be appreciated.
