Changing personal Address

Hello Everyone, I am new but following this forum and is very helpful.I want to change my personal address and now moving to my friend for couple of months then going on holidays. after coming back from holidays i will be looking for my permanent place. for now I am redirecting letters there.my question is do i have to let Homeoffice know about this? if yes please any one tell me how to do and shall i tell them now as it is not permanent address or only re direct with royal mail & wait till coming back from holidays and tell them once permanent place. Thanks in advance

My question was shall i inform them about my temporary address and then again inform them after couple of months when find permanent address or can wait till find the permanent place? is any legal binding I must tell them even about temporary address? sorry if this sounds idiot but i am concerned and dont want make issue for myself in case any, Regards
