1. You said she plans to come in Feb (didnt say when she want to return), and then you said again she plans to come in Jul (no idea when planning to return).
Anyways, whenever she comes she should have return ticket. This return should be within 180 days of touching UK soil. (means she cannot stay in UK for more than 180 days).
from data you gave, i assume she will come in Feb and then probably return in March, April, May or even June, its fine. There is no such thing, that you need to have a gap of 180 days between 2 visits. (means spending 180 days in India/Pakistan before making second visit), this is wrong assumption.
Yes each time when she visit, she should have some enough evidence to provide about her purpose of visit. (again with return ticket). also she should know where she is satying, she has no issues with accomodation, funds etc.
Rest i am sure, everything is smooth.

How many six months visas?AishwaryaGhandhi wrote:Wanderer wrote:Applied for or got?

She has visited us before with 6 months visitor visa. Have applied for 2 years this time.
Not necessarily. It is all based on evidence your mom provides of strong ties to home country, not staying longer than stated on previous application etc. Just because someone else got one, doesn't mean another person will definitely get one.AishwaryaGhandhi wrote:My friend's mom got 2 years visa last month, she visited only once with 6 month visa too. So I am guessing my mom will be getting as well! will know next week.
Frontier Mole wrote:Be very careful to ensure your Mum never stays beyond 180 days in any rolling 12 month period.
The time scales proposed will take her beyond the 180 days so is not acceptable. First stay will not be an issue obviously but adding in the return visit will be too long. Sos one way or another the two trips together can not add up to beyond 180 days.
Casa wrote:As Frontier Mole has advised, visiting over the 180 days in a rolling 12 month period would mean that your mother is spending more time in the UK than she is residing in her home country, which is not permitted.
