I have applied for a tier 2 extension and have got a letter for biometrics but with the letter I have an extra letter saying Iam missing a couple of things
1) You have not sent the mandatory photographs
2) You have not provided a valid passport, travel document or national identification card
I will resend the photos and take the biometrics but I have already sent them a valid passport (only have one expiring in 2020)?
Iam sure they have got the passport because the missing list would've said BRP too (Send all passport+BRP+Photos together)
Please advice, I have been given 10 days!

You have to write or email ( if any) them ASAP with your CASe ref no stated on biometric letter.

Thanks for the reply.
I have given my biometrics today and also have sent in two photos which they should have by Monday 19th December (Ignored Item 2 on their list because I don't have any other passport except for the one I sent to them)
I will call them on Monday and try and explain my situation. I don't see an email address for them on Gov.co.uk?

Is there an email address for Tier 2 General extension (Standard application)?

You are right..There is no specified email id for postal applicant! I guess you wrote them letter as well along with the photos you sent already. You can call as well but i found writing letters is more effective than calling them in my case. Anyways good luck ..that won't be a big deal if you let them know and make it clear on time.

Update-
I received the approved BRP 1st week of January BUT never received the approval letter nor the passport back.
I called up UKVI on the 18th of January asking what happened to my passport that is when they gave me a tracking number. When I checked with royal mail they said though the tracking number is valid there is no trace of the package on their network.
Called UKVI back again to explain the same and waited until end of January and asked to be transferred to a supervisor at UKVI and told her I need to go abroad urgently, she then said the case has been referred to the case worker who dealt with the case but if you have urgent travel requirements please get a new passport from your embassy.
I have written to UKVI at Sheffield asking for a letter to say that the passport has gone missing but I am thinking the quickest solution is to report to the police (though I have not lost the passport) and then apply for a new passport. I urgently need to go abroad for personal reasons.
Any advice is much appreciated.

Thanks for the reply.
So does that mean I have to wait until I get a letter from them? Is there no other way for me to get a passport? What are my options if I have to get a passport then?
