UK Tier 2 Spouses Visa

Hi,

I am in the UK currently on a Tier 2 general visa. I got my visa and work permit via a COS from my employer whom is an A-Rated sponsor. I am from South Africa and my application for my visa was made from there.

My wife could not join me from the start as it was not financially viable and she had sporting commitments in South Africa to attend too during the first couple of months of 2017.

I have a working permit for 5 years and my BRP card. What I would like to find out is what we need to hand in supporting document wise with her Visa application.

- Online Visa application form and payment
- Confirmation that NHS has been paid
- Her TB test
- Her current and old passport
- Does she need to do an English test?
- Copy of my certificate of sponsorship
- Copy of my passport
- Copy of my BRP card
- Payslips from my company
- Address of where we will stay
- Are any financial documents required or a letter from my company stating sponsorship?

No such thing as tier 2 spouse visa. Its dependent visa. Spouse visa is something else, so dont get confused.

List ok. No english test needed. U either need 3 months bank statement showing £630 min balance or a letter from employer stating they will support her for one month if needed.

We then apply for the UK Tier 2 Dependency visa? With this visa there is no restriction on work as with mine?

Dependent can do any work except a doctor or dentist in training.
