UK tier 2 dependent visa vignette mistake

Today received passports from British Embassy Delhi and there is a mistake on my spouse's visa stamp / vignette (Sex printed as "M" instead of "F"). I have few questions and based on that I need to take further decisions

Visa Type - UK 2 dependent visa

1. Is it possible to do this correction/amendment in UK?
2. In case correction/amendment in UK is not possible then Can I travel alone & my spouse n daughter join me later?
3. How much time required to do correction/amendment?
4. what is the process?

You should get it corrected asap in India.

Yes you can travel alone.

It varies, couple of days to a couple of weeks.

Contact the centre where you submitted the application or the BHC.

1. What is the meaning of this observation?
2. Can my spouse work on contract/permanent position?
where my colleagues wife received observation as "work permitted"
3. what is difference between "work permitted" and "Restricted No Dr/Den Train, No Sport"

Dependent is not allowed to work as a doctor or dentist in training.

Yes your wife can. Is your 'colleagues also on Tier 2 G & dependent?

Your spouse is allowed to do any employment except a doctor or dentist in training. This applies to any tier 2 general dependent.

May I kow how did your wife's visa got corrected. I am also facing issue with valid until date. We applied from hyderabad VFS. Any help is appreciated
