Main applicant on ILR new born baby will get what visa

Hi All,
I have small question, will be great if you able to clarify me

I am on Tier 2 general at the moment and eligible for ILR in 2 months time

My baby born last year 2016 May in UK and went to India without Visa (he got only Indian passport applied in UK) before coming to UK (two months back) we have applied for Tier 2 dependant visa for my baby.

I am eligible for ILR on 10th April 2017 and baby visa will be (Tier 2 dependant visa) expiring on 21st Of May 2017.

If I get ILR on 10th April 2017 what visa I need to apply for baby ? I have been told that we can apply for Citizenship visa for my baby ? Is that right ? Please confirm me

Yes, you can register your UK born child as BC on form MN1, under section 1(3) of the nationality act, which is an entitlement to register.
