limit to stay in country if company is undergoing solvency

Hi,

Background info:
1) Currently on Tier 2 Sponsored visa (expiring on 27/09/2019)
2) Company is undergoing liquidation
3) Company is still listed on Tier 2 sponsor list
4) Have been made redundant since 17th Jan (Since then looking for a company to sponsor me a Tier 2 visa)

My question:
How long can I stay in this country? I know it is 60 days; But I recently spoke to an advisor working at home office (immigrations) and he mentioned that the home office shall get notified about the company solvency. After that they shall decide and inform the immigrants that they have 60 days from the time they receive the letter from home office.

Is this true?

Your 60days notice will start after you have received letter from the UKVI. If you however leave the country, then you can not travel back to the UK. I hope you get another job and sponsor soon.
