Call to UKVI -30/01/2017 ( Same as Above )
Call to UKVI - 09/02/2017 ( Got a call back with an angry caller saying not to call them anymore as my application is still not decided )

So 7 months have passed and nothing seems to go ahead.i guess my wait is going to be a little more longer.
Today the wait is finally over as i received my BRP along with documents,Dated 9/02/2017.

Happy to receive it but will not be enjoying it for too long as in just over 4 month will apply for PR and i hope will not have to wait soo long then.Till the Peace and Good luck to everyone waiting.

I Believe chasing them helped me,so those waiting over six month please do so but the call centre is not reliable as the update they give you doesn't make sense at all.

JULY BATCH = 201 days WAITING

Application posted on : 25/07/2016
Received by UKVI/HO on : 26/07/2016
Payment taken on : 27/07/2016
Bio letter received on : 01/09/2016 (dated 24/08/2016)
Biometrics Enrolled on : 02/09/2016
COA With Work: 24/09/2016 (dated 22/09/2016)
Documents Returned on :15/02/2017
Residency Card Received on : DX left a card on 16/02/2017, delivery rearrenged for 21/02/2017

Calling home office since 24th January in a daily basis, helpless. They do not know anything. They only thing they say is "I cannot do anything, you have to wait. How long shall I wait? Response: I do not know, keep waiting".

On 6th Feb called Home Office to check my application status and was told I had called then 12 times and must not call them again; in addition my process had been slowed down. Enough is enough - same day I sent letters to my MP/Secretary of Home State/ Home Office in Liverpool/London/Croydon, CEO of my borough, Home office complaints and with the help of this page I have sent soft copies of my letter to every single email of home office that I found here.

On 14th Feb Home Office called me almost 10 times during my work time; when I picked up the phone call was to ask me to withdraw my complaints and to advise me my documents were on way.

My piece of advice: chase them, everyday, through every communication channel. It is unfair and illegal to tell us we cannot call them anymore and we have only to wait. The law is clear - 6 months from the date of application (the date Home Office receives your form).

AUGUST BATCH

Application posted on: 18 Aug 2016
Received by UKVI/HO on: 19 Aug
Payment taken on: NA
Bio letter received on: 14 Sep (dated 11 Sep)
Biometrics Enrolled on: 16 Sep
COA With Work: 26 Sep (dated 22 Sep)
Documents returned on: 11 Feb 2017
Resident Card received on: 17 Feb 2017 (dated 9 Feb)
(Missed DX delivery and collected it in person on 20 Feb)

NB: I've written to the local MP on Friday 10 Feb. She prompted to contact HO on the following Monday (not needed as the approval letter + docs arrived the next day). Turns out she's a Shadow Minister at Home Affairs and was ashamed at the lengthy processes with no response.

I STRONGLY ADVISE TO CONTACT YOUR LOCAL MP RATHER THAN H.O. FOR EFFECTIVENESS.
