Is this for an extension within the UK or an application outside the UK?

Dear CR001,
Thank you for replying. This is my first Tier 2 application with in the UK. Queries are already done with the employer. Employer responded to the queries in December and now after 2 months i have received letter for an interview.
I would really appreciate any advice/guidance regarding the interview as i have tried to search for any thread where someone who has applied for Tier 2 with in UK and was invited for the interview, but i could not find anything.
Looking forward to hearing from you.
Kind Regards

If this is your first Tier 2 application, what is your UK immigration history and current visa?

Dear CR001 ,
I applied for Tier 2 whilst i was waiting for a decision on flr. Before filing flr i was on tier 4. I was advised that, because my last leave was tier 4 so it will be considered as switching from tier 4 to tier 2.

The FLR application will have complicated things a bit.

Dear CR001,
I would really appreciate if you could advise what type of questions could be asked if flr is the possible reason for this interview?
Kind regards

I don't know. I don't work for HO and have never had a Tier 2 General visa.

More chances are they will ask you the questions like:
- Why have you moved on FLR?
How you got this job?
What will be your duties in the job?
Have you been interviewed or not?
on which date you have been interviewed?
How you applied for this job [via Email (directly or any job board site)]?
Do you have any relationship with any employee in the company or managers or owners?
Please prepare questions like that and be confident.
The job has to be genuine.
Thanks

In addition to the response you have received above. I want to believe that the key reason will be to know why you applied for FLR. If don't have any genuine reason then it will appear that you applied for FLR to buy time for yourself to get someone to sponsor your tier 2 visa. This will then bring more question on the job and authenticity of the position.
So be ready to answer all questions honestly. So there's not so much to prepare for other than to answer whatever question they ask you truthfully.
All the best.

Hi XS2BUTT,
Do you mean on 8th March you had your visa interview?? Its been more than 3months now. Did UK VI contacted you/your employer in these 3 months. I am asking this because my situation is almost similar to you. And I am totally frustrated now. Any input of yours would be of great help. Thanks a lot in advance.

I don't know how I can pm you my number? I can imagine its so frustrating to wait for so long. Meanwhile did you contacted UK VI for enquiry? What did they say? To me they have a standard answer "Decision has not been made". I dont know what else to do. It's so annoying.
