Hi All

Thank you all for sharing your timeline. I received my documents yesterday so I'm also sharing my timeline.

Applied on paper EEA (PR) Country A8, single person application.

Application Sent: 16 Jan 2017
Application Received: 17 Jan 2017
Payment taken: 18 Jan 2017
Confirmation email by HO: 02 Feb 2017
PR + Documents received: 13 Feb 2017
PR card date of issue: 06 Feb 2017

Yesterday I was extremely surprised when I saw envelope! It was really fast!

Unfortunately I've got one issue.... It is dated that I deemed my permanent residence from May 2016 where it should be November 2015. Now I have to wait till May to apply for a citizenship or send the application now with proof that I should be given permanent residence before May. I've got payslips, WRS and bank letters.
If I will send application now with payslips, etc is it enough or my form will be rejected?

Anyone know case like this?

Must admit, getting a little frustrated seeing timelines where others are getting their PRs within weeks, seems utterly random. Especially now the required evidence has been lessened for online applications.

But I just got my old passports and QP doc back today, hopefully it means my application is moving along. Weirdly the back of my letter where the details are says "British Citizenship will show the following details", trying to not read into it too much, clearly a clerical error as I haven't applied for a BC yet.

So updated timeline:

Online form submitted: 12/12/2016
Payment taken: 12/12/2016
Email confirmation of application received: 13/12/2016
Documents sent via Passport Return Service: 13/12/2016
Documents arrived at Liverpool HO: 14/12/2016
Requested (Expired) passports and QP Doc back: 06/02/2017
(Expired) passports and QP Doc received: 16/02/2017 (letter dated 09/02/2017)
DCPR received:

Spoke to soon, Naxxan, think you're right mate, asking for passports back seemed to have prompted the HO! I just checked my tracking number for the self-address envelope I sent with my docs and it's on it's way to be delivered today.

Pity I'm not home for them. !!

Fingers crossed everything is in order when I pick them up tomorrow.

Hi guys! Do you remember when asking for your passports back, did HO use your prepaid envelopes or they used their own ones? I just need my passport but dont know if I should send another envelope. Thank you.

Happy day! I've just received my PR card, 6 weeks after applying online. I submitted my application before joining this group, but I wish I was a member before. Amazing work!
I'm a French citizen and have been living in London since 2007. Had a long work assignment in Singapore for 1.5 years between 2009 and 2010, so my qualifying period was Oct 2010 to Oct 2015.
Was a full-time employee of a company until Apr 2011, when I decided to start my own Ltd and work as a contractor. Have been employed by my company since May 2011.
Was a bit worried about salary and dividends, so I decided to submit SATR for the QP as additional evidence of income.
My timeline:
Application submitted and paid online - 03/01/2017
Email confirmation with case ID received - 04/01/2017
Documents posted - 06/01/2017 (Friday)
Documents received by UKVI - 09/01/2017 (Monday)
Proactively sent SATR and Certificate of Health Insurance - 19/01/2017
Documents received by UKVI - 23/01/2017
PR issued - 11/02/2017
PR and Documents received - 15/02/2017

Hi there, Polish citizenship. I thought my case wasn't straightforward, despite of that got my EEA PR amazingly quickly. I based my application on 5 year employment (including 2x maternity leave; 3 months registered as jobseeker; 3 months abroad when I got unemployed, but got re-employed straight after my return...)

Under Article 10 of Directive 2004/38 EC and Regulation 17 of the EEA Regulations (2006), the SSHD must issue the permanent residence card no later than six months after the application and the documents are received. My application has been submitted more than six months ago and a letter has been sent recorded to Home Office to remind them of this.
Update : Refusal received.

For those interested in Kuldip Singh, it seems caseworker guidance still does not reflect the ECJ Kuldip Sing Ruling. Therefore a rejection because EEA national left the UK before divorce proceedings were FINAL (absolute) but AFTER divorce proceedings began. Which means it's still a convenient way for a disgruntled ex to sabotage and blackmail their former partner - just by making sure they were out of the country or not working on the DAY the Decree Absolute is declared, resulting that the Non EEA spouse loses his/her retained rights of residence.
Hi vincevega,
Was this an application for permanent residence after retained rights of residence? or a retained rights of residence application?

I've received the PR today and here's an update on my timeline:

Online application submitted and paid - 05/01/2017

I am Romanian citizen with Blue Card, applied as worker. I sent my passport - did not use the European passport return service - and did not request my passport back either. The process took exactly 2 months. Good luck everyone!
