hello everyone
i have tried searching for recent posts with this information but havent found anything on this forum. if there is a thread, i would appreciate if you are able to point me to it.
I am in the process of applying for my wife's tier-1 general dependent visa extension by post and was hoping to verify the list of documents for this application. I have
1. Cover letter
2. PBS dependent application form
3. Dependent's passport and visa - original and copy
4. (My) Main applicant's british passport - copy
5. Marriage certificate - original and copy
6. (My) Main applicant's Past 6 months UK bank statements to show employment and maintenance funds in the last 3 months - original and copy
7. (My) Main applicant's Past 3 months payslips - printouts
8. (My) Letter from employer confirming my employment - original
9. Tenancy agreement (with both our names on it) as part of cohabitation proof - original and copy
10. Dependents past 6 months Bank statements (same address as mine) - original and copy
11. Latest council tax bills (with both our names on it) - original and copy
Is this all i need or am i missing anything important. please note that i am applying by post - do i need to include 2 prepaid self addressed envelopes?
i will appreciate your response

You need evidence of cohabitation and subsisting marriage for 2 years from at least 6 difference sources.

thank you for your reply. i did not know it should be from 6 different sources. just so you know i am applying from inside the uk
if that is the case - do you think the following are enough?
1 - separate bank statements - my wife and myself (current address) - for last 2 years
2 - council tax statements - in the name of my wife and myself (same address) - for last 2 years
3 - tenancy agreements - in the name of my wife and myself (Same address) - last 2 years
4 - electricity bills - in the name of my wife and myself (same address) - only 2015 - we havent got last years because they are just in my name.
5 - marriage certificate
6 - NHS registration card - my wife and myself (current address) - not time specific but confirms that we have been registered with our surgery for the last 2 years
7 - we have a 3 year old daughter - can we use her birth certificate?
thanks in advance

I don't think you need all the cohabitation documents for extension.

Hi,
All I needed to send was their Passports and bank statements showing proof of maintenance funds. I did it right before there was healthcare surcharge. Also, we didn't have the biometric cards as their original was done outside UK and it was a sticker on passports.
It was one of the simplest and straight forward application ( all the requirements were printed on the application itself). My understanding is that cohabitation is needed for ILR?
