CoS processing time for Tier 2 General (Restricted Visa)

Hi All,
I could not find a straight answer to this question. So, asking, my employer is an A grade license sponsor and they have completed the advertisement recruitment process and could not found any suitable candidate and processing for my Tier 2 General visa. I have to go out of the UK to apply for the visa that I know. My query is how many days it would take for my employer to get the CoS reference number.
This is not an extension.

why do u think u have to go back for the new visa? what visa are u on right now?
Get the restricted cos allocation takes time. It has to be applied before a cut off date , and then its looked at and according to point system, allocations are awarded to companies.
Once the company has an allocation, it takes around 15 min to assign to cos to the individual which then generates the number.

Thanks for you reply. I am on ICT 2 dependent visa and working for my employer for last 2 years and now I am getting converted to Tier 2 general visa and my company started the process 2 months earlier. So if they have the allocation that would take 15 minutes? And if they do not have the allocation then how much time they would take to get the CoS ref number.
