HSMP eligible for Permanent Residency?

Post by cva » Mon Feb 18, 2008 6:49 am

I received HSMP approval letter. I applied for EC. I am yet to receive EC. I am planning to travel within 2 months of getting EC clearance. It seems that I need to stay at least of 4 Years 11 months to get Permanent Residency in UK. What is the minimum period I should stay in UK to get Permanent Residency?

Hi buddy!

You have to stay for a continuos period of 4 years 11 months in the UK to gain Permanent residency in the UK.

The exception is that you can stay for a max. period of 120 days out of the UK if you wish so with not more than 90 days of your trip on each exit from the port of UK...

Got any more questions ........ :?: :!:
