EC For Spouse and kid

Hi Guys,

I have got my EC Stamped and it is valid from feb 23rd,2008...

Now i want to apply for my spouse and my kid as Dependants....

Can i do the same while i am here in india?.... if so what are the procedures that needs to be follwed...

I also have an job offer from a company in hand and i will be joining them only in april....

Do i need to wait till april to get the visa done for my dependants?...

Seniors, please help

I confirmed with VFS that we can apply for Spouse and kids . But few freinds are saying we can't.

Why don't you check with VFS.

Hi

Could you please let me know what reasons you gave to BHC while applying alone for EC??? This will be really helpful.

I am plannin to apply without my wife initially and then apply for her few months later.
I can think of 3 reason. Not sure which one I should tell BHC.

1. Medical certificate saying she is carrying for 3 months.
2. She dont have passport as well. I have applied for it and will take some
more time. Can I give file number of her passport application.
3. Just say that I dont have enough funds at present.

later on it will be very hard to get their EC unless u r on 35k+ JOB

Hi,

I applied saying that my wife has given birth to a kid and they will be joining me in 3 months once i get a job and settle down in UK.
EC Applied Date : 16-01-2008
